Hourly Fee Schedule

The hourly fee for organizing services is $60.

If you prepurchase a 10-hour block of time the rate drops to $50/hour and you have 3 months from the purchase date in which to use the 10 hours.

Organizing services include:

• Assessing your organizing needs and writing a plan for you to follow to achieve your goals on your own; or working side-by-side with you; or doing all the organizing work for you or some combination of these
• My time spent shopping for items you authorize me to purchase to help you organize your home or office
• My time spent traveling to and unloading items at various charities and recycling centers
• My time spent preparing detailed inventories of the items you donate to charity, if you want a detailed inventory for tax purposes

The clock starts when I reach your home or office, so please be there on time and ready to work. I do not charge for the initial consultation (for more information, see FAQs).

Please read the Cancellation Policy below to avoid charges for appointments you cancel.

Possible Additional Charges

• Reimbursement for items we agree you need and you authorize me to purchase. These items might include storage containers, file folders, labels and so on.
• Reimbursement for recycling fees (usually incurred for recycling electronics) and dump fees.
• Travel time for clients who live outside Orange, Durham or Wake Counties (North Carolina). The charge for travel time outside these counties is $30 per hour.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you must reschedule or cancel an appointment with Central Carolina Organizing, you must do so at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. You must reschedule or cancel by telephone by calling 919-949-2244; e-mail is not acceptable. If you do not cancel your appointment at least 48 hours in advance, you will be billed for the full amount of the appointment (multiply the hourly rate by the number of hours the appointment was scheduled to last).
